In facing the looming capital expenses, the Club has sought partners that have demonstrated capability in unlocking true value that will ensure that Bowral Golf Club remains one of the best golfing destinations in NSW.
This proposal will allow for various capital intensive upgrades including improvements to the golf course playability and scorecard, new practice facilities, replacement of irrigation, new maintenance facilities and drainage works.
An extension of community
Of the potential redevelopment options, it was considered that an appropriately scaled retirement village community would be the most compatible land use. As part of the proposal, hole 1 was identified as the most suitable location and has been the option investigated in detail.
